The Dragon in the Bullpen

Then Turin sprang about, and strong against him, and the edges of Gurthang shone as with flame; but Glaurung withheld his blast, and opened wide his serpent-eyes and gazed upon Turin. Without fear Turin looked into them as he raised up the sword; and straightaway he fell under the binding spell of the lidless eyes of the dragon, and was halted moveless.

This drawing I can't blame on anyone, but that's all right, since I think it successfully stands on its own. This is lefthanded reliever Sang-Hoon Lee, from Korea, as an Eastern dragon. (Korean dragons have four toes - I did my research, not that one can see any of the toes on his limbs properly.) The drawing is based partly off a number of images of Eastern dragons that I've seen, and also off one of the 2000 spring training photographs of Sang-Hoon Lee in action. (Before signing with the Red Sox, he played with the Chunichi Dragons. My subconscious is a genius; I checked on that just after I put up the first version of this page.)
